Doug is responsible for monitoring the coaching programs for the Fellows enrolled in the Arkansas Teacher Corps program as well as helping design more effective teacher training through professional development and ongoing individualized support. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and went on to complete a Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision at the University of Houston. He was worked for 7 years as a teacher, and he served Texas schools as a building administrator for 9 years. Doug has worked as a Director of Education for a large non-profit and as an Independent Educational Consultant for several different organizations and higher education institutions across the state of Arkansas, including the University of Arkansas. He has also had the opportunity to serve as a manager, trainer, and consultant for multiple nonprofits and educational organizations. His unique background in various levels of education administration has made him a valuable asset to the ATC team.
